Welcome to Wills Creek Vineyards and Winery and Wills Creek Vineyards at the Windmill. We are nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Big Wills Valley in the community of Duck Springs, AL.

Founders Jahn and Janie Coppey established Wills Creek Vineyards in 1996 and opened the Winery in 2001. Jahn grew up in the Rhône valley of Switzerland in a family of vineyard owners. With Janie's family history in farming, planting vineyards on the family’s property was a perfect transition to grow muscadines and produce a variety of muscadine and vinifera wines.

On any visit to the winery, you will find a variety of activities for wine and nature lovers alike. Our wine tasting happens daily as well as many people choose our location for small special events such as birthday parties, family gatherings, bridal showers, girls and guys day out.

Our winery location provides tranquil views of the vineyards, mountains, and the natural spring fed pond. Today the winery produces about 2,000 cases of wine annually that includes muscadine from the vineyard, locally grown fruit wines like blueberry and strawberry. There are flavored grape wines as well as red and white vinifera grape wines.

The Windmill is Wills Creek Vineyards event space that has been in operation since 2009. It is nestled near the beautiful vineyards just north of the winery. We offer an idyllic and natural setting for any kind of event from intimate gatherings to the grandest affairs.
