You wouldn't buy a sports car, have it detailed, park it in a nice garage, then fill it with diesel fuel would you? Eating the wrong things or in a bad combination won't help you hit your fitness goals. You also won't recover properly which makes it that much harder to keep going. Plans specific to weight loss goals won't help you build muscle mass and plans to build muscle mass are designed to help you gain weight. Knowing the difference is key.
